I'm a serial software entrepreneur with a thirty-plus-year track record of starting companies, growing them, and seeing them through. My pattern is simple: I run into a problem the existing tools can't solve, so I build the platform that does — then turn it into a business other people can use.

Before software, I practiced law in Texas, Illinois, and Ohio, earning the highest peer ratings from fellow lawyers and judges. I wrote Look Before You Lease, a consumer guide to car leasing, and built the LeaseWizard software behind it — written up by Motor Trend — which became the foundation for DriveOff.com. Along the way, I've founded RCUniverse, Kaango, Eventsquid, and OwnTheCrowd. Following the sale of Eventsquid, I served for 2+ years as Executive Vice President at HotelPlanner. Today, I run LiveJudge™ — a premier mobile-first judging and fan-voting platform that was born out of HeliStorm®, a nonprofit event designed to bring STEM and the aviation industry together through radio-controlled scale-helicopter flight.
